CES 2024: HP Brings Exciting Lineup of Devices To Show Floor

With CES 2024 now here, HP lifted the curtain on a range of devices that put innovation front and center in Las Vegas.

The star of HP’s consumer-focused CES lineup is the new Spectre x360 laptop, available in both 14- and 16-inch models. These convertible 2-in-1 devices aim to offer consumers a range of features, all in a sleek, well-designed chassis. Built-in AI capabilities allow the Spectre x360 to optimize performance automatically based on factors such as running applications, device location, and battery level. For example, the laptop can adjust fan speed and noise or screen brightness and refresh rate best to suit the user’s needs at any given time.

This adaptive experience is powered by top-of-the-line Intel Ultra processors and an optional NVIDIA RTX 4050 GPU. With dedicated AI acceleration hardware, these laptops can handle demanding creative workloads such as photo and video editing smoothly and efficiently. HP also worked with Poly to fine-tune the Spectre x360’s audio for both music playback and video calling. Two speakers and four microphones aim to deliver clear sound for all use cases.

Visually, the Spectre impresses with vibrant OLED displays that support up to 2.8K resolution and a high 16:10 aspect ratio. An IMAX Enhanced certification means the screen is optimized for watching movies, while the variable refresh rate of 48-120 Hz adapts to display fast motion in games and videos smoothly.

Beyond the laptop itself, HP announced several new peripherals and accessories to round out the consumer ecosystem. These include the Poly Voyager Free 20 wireless earbuds for on-the-go listening and crystal-clear calls. They feature hybrid noise cancellation and up to 8 hours of battery life per charge.

For desktop users, the HP 960 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard splits in two for a more natural shoulder alignment while typing. Its 20 programmable keys and separate number pad further boost customizability. HP says the keyboard contains 50% post-consumer recycled plastics, in line with the company’s sustainability initiatives.

Other accessories include the world’s first Qi-charging Bluetooth mouse, a mechanical Bluetooth keypad, a compact 5-port USB-C travel hub, and an affordable backlit wired keyboard. Even the less expensive products retain the quality look and feel HP is known for.

Finally, HP refreshed its consumer monitor lineup with the new Series 5 family. Available in 24-, 27-, and 32-inch sizes, these displays offer higher contrast, faster 100Hz refresh rates, and thin bezels for multi-display setups. All look truly stunning to use and experience firsthand.

The wide variety of new devices announced at CES 2024 proves HP remains committed to innovation across all categories of personal computing. With cutting-edge hardware and a focus on adaptive, personalized experiences, HP aims to shape the future of consumer tech.
