Lenovo’s Legion Go Images Have Leaked & It’s a Switch + Steam Deck

Leaks Are LEGION

Lenovo's Legion Go Images Have Leaked & It Looks Like a Switch + Steam Deck

Reports circulated last month of Lenovo possibly making a handheld PC in the same vein as the Steam Deck called the Legion Go, and it appears the first images of the device have leaked.

Fans now have potential images to back up the report from Windows Central a month ago, where it was reported Lenovo was in the process of making a Steam Deck competitor. The images leaked out today onto the internet showing what the Lenovo Legion Go looks like, and it’s possibly what happens if the Steam Deck, the ROG Ally and the Nintendo Switch were fused into one device. The first image can be seen below (courtesy of Windows Report).

The main difference, of course, between the Steam Deck and the Legion Go (aside from the obvious detachable Nintendo Switch Joy-con-like controllers) is that the new Lenovo handheld will run Windows similar to the ROG Ally/AYANEO AIR, whereas the stock Steam Deck runs Linux. Another feature the Lenovo device appears to borrow from its competition is that it comes equipped with a sturdy kickstand reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch OLED, not the flimsy one-sided one that came with the OG Switch.

The layout of the Legion Go sports a single trackpad on the right, and the +pad is placed lower than the left analog. There is a myriad of buttons to be found, with a second shoulder button on the outside, which seems very easy to accidentally press, with two triggers and four back buttons that are differently placed on both sides. This device has a LEGION of air vents populating the back as well, which may prove that this device can bring power.

All in all, the Legion Go (if this is indeed the final product) seems to be a Frankenstein’s Monster of all its main competition, with everything its competitors have hammered into one handheld. It’s important to note that Lenovo has yet to make an official announcement, so what we see here should be taken with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made.
