Mipumi Games Announces Final Chapter of The Lion's Song 1

Austrian indie developer Mipumi Games has announced the full release of their adventure series, The Lion’s Song.

Released episodically, the fourth and final chapter of The Lion’s Song will be coming to PC and mobile devices in July. Described as a narrative adventure series, The Lion’s Song’s final episode will be called Closure. Closure will intertwine the stories of the heroes followed in the previous episodes, leading towards the game’s grand finale. Closure will launch on Steam along with the simultaneous debut of the complete season on iOS and Android. Mipumi Games released a trailer to celebrate these announcements on their official YouTube page.

The Lion’s Song consists of four episodes set in the early 20th century. The game follows a cast of fictional Austrian artist and scientists, each of them gifted in their fields. Each chapter of The Lion’s Song takes a closer look at the character’s personal struggles with finding inspiration. Players are able to make choices that directly affect the game’s story, taking the characters on different paths. Originally released in 2016, The Lion’s Song was met with critical praise, being awarded the German Developer Award for Indie Game of the Year.

Mipumi Games is an independent game development studio based in Vienna. The studio is run by veteran developers with over ten years of experience in the industry, working at companies like Rockstar and Ubisoft on a number of AAA productions along with smaller projects. The company works closely Io-Interactive in developing new titles in the Hitman series. The Lion’s Song is the company’s first independent title.

A season Pass for The Lion’s Song containing all four episodes is currently available on Steam for $9.99. The first episode, titled Silence, is available for free right now while other episodes can be purchased separately for $3.99 each.
