Nintendo has announced details about DLC coming to their upcoming title, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
Nintendo will be releasing five DLC packs for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. The first pack, titled the Fledgling Warriors Pack will be ideal content for early to mid-game adventurers. The Fledgling Warriors Pack will include a new dungeon called The Astral Temple and will feature two new maps, making it easier to gain more items, money and experience points. The first pack will release on May 19, 2017 for $11.29.
The second DLC pack is called the Undaunted Heroes Pack. Like the first pack, it includes a new dungeon called The Inner Sanctum along with two new maps. As the name of the DLC pack suggests, the challenge of these maps are higher than the first and are recommended for more seasoned players. The Undaunted Heroes Pack will be made available May 25, 2017 for $14.09.
Fire Emblem Echoes’ third DLC pack is called the Lost Altars Pack. This pack introduces dungeons that contain a method to upgrade characters to exclusive classes that aren’t available in the main game. The Lost Altars Pack will release on May 25, 2017 for $21.19.
The game’s fourth DLC pack is called the Rise of the Deliverance Pack. This pack offers additional prologue content complete with voice acting, detailing the Deliverance in Zofia. The new story content adds a collection of challenging maps, featuring new support conversations between selected heroes along with allowing players to control characters that are unusable during the main game. The Rise of the Deliverance Pack will release on June 1, 2017 for $18.39.
Info on the final pack is currently unknown with plans to be revealed at a later date. Nintendo also announced a season pass for the game, available May 19, 2017 for $63.59. Players who purchase the pass will be able to download all of the DLC packs as they release. The season pass allows players to save 30 per cent compared to purchasing the content individually.
Nintendo released a trailer today which highlights the newly announced DLC. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches on May 19, 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS.
