OnePlus has been giving North American consumers a healthy dose of the latest the company has to offer, and now has revealed two more exciting developments for the tech company in 2022.
Since the beginning of the year, OnePlus has been releasing each one of their products for the North American market. This includes the flagship cell phone OnePlus 10 Pro, a cheaper option in the Nord N20 5G, and even their latest earbuds, the Z2. Now, the tech giant has given consumers a small peek into their plans for the rest of the year.
First off, in response to community feedback, the flagship OnePlus 10 Pro is receiving a faster and more spacious option with a 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage option. While the smartphone is usually available in either Emerald Green or Volcanic Black, the new North American option will only be available in the black color.
While this is a fantastic option for a technophile or photographer to upgrade their memory for double, it will set consumers back $969 if in the US, or $1,249 in Canada. As a bonus, adopters of this new model can grab a pair of the OnePlus Buds Pro for free between June 15th and June 20th.
In addition, OnePlus also announced that they will be overhauling their Red Cable Club premium membership program in North America. Members will be given the ability to earn “RedCoins” in exchange for third-party rewards such as DoorDash gift cards or SurfShark VPN subscriptions. While T-Mobile customers will be granted 2,000 RedCoins upon startup, Red Cable Club members from other carriers will receive 500. All members regardless of carrier will receive an extended warranty on their OnePlus devices, an increased device trade-in bonus, and free shipping vouchers.
The new inclusions to the Red Cable Club will go live at a to be determined later date, and the new OnePlus 10 Pro variant will be made available on June 15th on their home website, Amazon and BestBuy.
