Post Malone to Challange Fans to $100K Live Magic: The Gathering Battle 3

Post Malone is a known Magic: The Gathering fan, and with the help of Whatnot is challenging one fan to a live battle with a potential price of $100K.

Post Malone who recently spent $800,000 on a Black Lotus card, is now putting that love of the game to the test. The Magic: The Gathering battle will take place live on postmalone.whatnot.com, with the potential cash price of $100K on the line. Even if the fan who wins the change does not know the game, Whatnot has said they will enlist Reid Duke to help train before the one-on-one battle with Malone.

“I absolutely love Magic: The Gathering and I can’t wait to link up with Whatnot and battle it out with the winner,” says Post Malone.

“We built Whatnot with the ethos of offering hands-down the best experiences for the most passionate enthusiasts, hobbyists, and collectors. Post Malone, both as an artist and as a person, fits perfectly into this growing and supportive community,” said Head of Special Projects, John Walters. “As a multi-talented artist with skills that extend beyond music — and as an avid Magic: The Gathering player and formidable opponent — we’re looking forward to seeing him battle it out live with one of our dedicated fans.”

Magic: The Gathering has been one of the top collectible card games in the world ever since it launched back in 1993. It is played by countless people across the globe with it still loved by many including Joseph Gordon Levitt, Seth Rogen and me. It is a game that is easy to pick up, and hard to master, giving way to plenty of ways to mix up the outcome thanks to the random nature of the deck.

Whatnot will be hosting a range of special guests and giveaways in the hour run up to the event on August 11th, and with $100K on the line, this is a Magic: The Gathering to keep an eye on.
