Riot Games Announces Convergence Fest, Bringing Together Teamfight Tactics and Riftbound

Riot Games has officially announced Convergence Fest, a “first of its kind” live event that brings together two of the studio’s big games, Teamfight Tactics and Riftbound: The League of Legends Trading Card Game — both in terms of competitive play and fun.

Taking place in Las Vegas December 11-13, 2026, Convergence Fest gives fans the chance to be at the heart of both games’ competitive scenes. The big focus will be on two competitive events running simultaneously, the TFT Vegas Open and the Riftbound North American Regional Championship. The former is a major Teamfight Tactics esports tournament that brings the format back to the US after three years. Meanwhile, the latter is the next stage of organized play in North America, where the 64 players who made it through Regional Qualifiers will fight for a spot in the World Championship.

A press release from Riot Games states, ” Attendees can follow the action across both tournaments, take part in side events, and experience everything the weekend has to offer, including the Artist Alley, card trading, a prize wall, game shows, developer panels, showmatches, cosplay, meet-and-greets, and event-exclusive merchandise.”

You can register your interest for the Convergence Fest presale now, although ticket sales proper will begin sometime in August through rolling purchase windows. Fans who register now will be given the best shot of purchasing tickets before sales fully open to the public in September.

While no prices have been shared yet, there will be a few different ticket options. That includes,

  • Attendee Pass (3-Day): Includes a commemorative Convergence Fest Riftbound card, one side event entry ticket, and all official and co-streamer in-game drops.
  • General Admission+ Bundle: All Attendee Pass perks, plus one hour early entry, a dedicated line to purchase merchandise, a custom festival crossbody bag, a Special Edition Teemo Hat, a Convergence Fest water bottle, and a holiday ornament.
  • Post Finals Celebration: A closing celebration to cap the weekend, hosted by DJ Sona.

You can head to the official website for further details, and stay tuned for more info from Riot Games.
