What Will It Be Traveler?

Players can soon roll their dice from the tables of their very own tavern in Dungeons & Dragons: Long Rest Tavern.

Oftentimes, the most understated part of any Dungeons & Dragons campaign, the tavern our heroes enter and exit throughout their journeys, has always played a crucial role. In Dungeons & Dragons: Long Rest Tavern, we get the chance to assume the role of tavern keeper and make sure those heroes get the food, quests and most importantly, drinks, to survive the frays of Faerun and beyond.

Taking place in the peaceful but troubled Dalelands, you will turn a rundown roadside rest stop into a thriving must-visit inn. Along the way, many characters and heroes visit your humble business, each complete with their own vibrant and memorable personalities.

These heroes will, of course, need quests to undertake, and who better than the local innkeeper to give them? From behind the bar, you can assign challenges and quests for them to take on based on how their party is composed, but if you send them on a journey they’re not ready for, you may lose some loyal patrons.

But that’s only half the job; any Dungeons & Dragons tavern can serve mead and bread, but you go the extra mile. Players can play with multiple exotic and ethically sourced ingredients to make customized drinks and food exclusive to your tavern. Keeping up the experimentation is the key to advancing your business and attracting more adventurers spanning from Drow to Dragonborn, and Paladins to Druids. Your efforts will eventually attract a rival Innkeeper who will push you to your full potential.

As you gradually collect coin from your loyal patrons, your inn also benefits from your success. A rich customization system lets you decorate and show off trophies from your customers’ adventures that fueled your business to where it is. All of this vicarious adventure in Dungeons & Dragons: Long Rest Tavern will be available to all PC players in 2027.
