Properties owned by Sean Combs (AKA P. Diddy), located in Miami and Los Angeles, were raided by Homeland Security yesterday as part of an ongoing sex-trafficking case tied to the rap mogul.

Yesterday, evidence raids were conducted on properties tied to Sean Combs as part of an ongoing investigation that sees the mogul face serious charges. Fox 11 News first reported the Homeland Security raids, which stemmed from an initial lawsuit filed in October 2023 by an R&B singer named Casandra Ventura, signed to his Bad Boy label as “Cassie.” The lawsuit contained heavy allegations against the rap mogul, with claims that Sean Combs had sexually assaulted the singer for years, and the very next day, the case was settled, according to CBS News.

Sean Combs’s Attorney, Ben Brafman, made this statement after the settlement: “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims.” But, the Fox 11 News report suggests there may be more behind the scenes.

Homeland Security released a statement saying, “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” following the raids on Combs’ two homes.

A Homeland Security Expert, Hal Kempfer, hinted at the lengthy process of obtaining such invasive search warrants. He also explained that HSI is looking for any evidence against Combs, which could include laptops, flash drives, or anywhere else you can store data. Another rap mogul, Curtis Jackson III (AKA 50 Cent) took to X (formerly Twitter) to agree with the Homeland Security Expert, saying “Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done they don’t come like that unless they got a case.” That post can be seen below.

While the allegations continue to surface surrounding the embattled Sean Combs, fans can head over to the Fox 11 News story for more information.
