This year’s Summer Game Fest will premiere in front of a live audience at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park along with being streamed globally.
Summer Game Fest is going into its fourth year and is a global celebration of what’s coming in the gaming community. Finally, after three years of the stream online, the Summer Game Fest’s world premieres, live gameplay demos and announcements will finally be an in-person event in Inglewood, California. Last year’s Summer Game Fest is available to watch on YouTube and is a good reminder of the excitement to come.
Tickets for the SGF will be available for everyone in the new year. The participants for the Summer Game Fest have yet to be announced, but last year’s show featured The Last Of Us Part 1, The Callisto Protocol, an extended gameplay demo of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and the debut of Goal Simulator 3.
Summer Game Fest will still be streamed live around the world across all major streaming platforms, including YouTube and Twitch. We are still pretty far away from the Summer Game Fest, so in the meantime, gamers and fans all over can tune into The Game Awards which will be streamed live on December 8th, on all major platforms. With 7 days to go, for The Game Awards, all fans and gamers should keep in mind there is fan voting in all categories. The kickoff show for SGF will once again be hosted by Geoff Keighley. The theatre, where SGF will be held, can hold up to 6,000 people, and the entire show will be streamed online for free, so there’s a way for fans and gamers all over the world to tune in.
As far as we know, all tickets, participants and other important information will hopefully be announced in the coming new year.
