The people at inXile Entertainment have reached a milestone. It was announced today that the beta of Torment: Tides of Numenera will be launching January 17tth to eligible backers.
If you did not back the project, but still want to give the game a try before the official launch, inXile also announced that it would be launching on Steam Early Access as of January 26th.
Torment: Tides of Numenera continues the legacy of the acclaimed Planescape: Torment get from the 90’s. Set in Monte Cook’s tabletop roleplaying universe and is touted as a game that will have a rich universe and very personal themes. No date has been set for the final release of the game, but inXile go into more details about the beta on the KickStarter Page.
