Viltrox used IBC 2026 to show just how broad its ambitions have become, unveiling new lenses, flashes and the DC-X4 monitor for creators across photography and video.
Viltrox used IBC 2026, held Sept. 11 to 14 at RAI Amsterdam, to pull back the curtain on a fresh wave of lenses, lighting and camera-monitoring gear, staking out its booth in Hall 11 at Stand 11.A39 under the banner “More Than One Way to See.” The theme highlights the company’s view that there is no single way to tell a story, with its products designed to help creators bring their own unique ideas to life.
Leading the charge is an expansion of Viltrox’s Air and Pro series lens lineups for full-frame cameras. Four new optics join the L-mount roster: the Viltrox AF 14 mm F4.0 L, Viltrox AF 20 mm F2.8 L, Viltrox AF 40 mm F2.5 L and Viltrox AF 50 mm F2.0 L. Spanning 14 mm through 50 mm, the collection targets just about everything a shooter might chase, from sweeping landscapes and architecture to travel, vlogging, everyday snapshots and portraiture. The Pro series also gains the Viltrox AF 35 mm F1.4 Pro, a fast, large-aperture prime that pairs a classic 35 mm focal length with a bright F1.4 aperture.
Viltrox is bolstering its crop-sensor Pro offerings with the Viltrox AF 18 mm F1.2 Pro and Viltrox AF 40 mm F1.2 Pro. The former marries a wide-angle field of view with an F1.2 aperture, while the latter narrows the frame but keeps that same blazing speed, with both lenses designed to leverage their large apertures for dramatic subject separation and depth of field.
Viltrox is also unveiling high-power flashes intended to give photographers a wider range of lighting possibilities and greater flexibility on set, while videographers get their own treat in the form of the Viltrox DC-X4, a new camera monitor offering a larger, more practical display for checking composition, focus, exposure and the overall image.
Viltrox has stayed tight-lipped on the finer points, with screen size, resolution, brightness, ports, pricing, and release windows all still under wraps, but we are excited to hear more, and to get it all in office to test. Still, with lenses stretching from ultra-wide Air glass to F1.2 Pro primes alongside new lighting and monitoring tools, Viltrox made it clear in Amsterdam that it sees more than one way into your camera bag, and we arre here for it.
