Yesterday, a Japanese network called NHK gave a look into a future Pokémon game, starring Pikachu.
According to Siliconera, the game will star you as a detective, with Pikachu as your partner in justice. While the Pokémon Company says the game will (as always) target a younger demographic, the title will do something completely different: make Pikachu talk.
As well, Pikachu will be different than his usual adorable self, delivering more mature lines as your “senior detective partner.”
The president of the Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, announced that the game will be done in around 2 years and is a huge project.
The Pikachu in the game also won’t be the same as Ash’s one, allowing for more flexibility in developing the creature’s character. As of now, the game is being developed for the Nintendo 3DS.
