Last weekend at MCM Comic Con in London, Nippon Ichi Software or as they're more commonly known as NIS, showed the first english trailer for DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair follows the events of the first game and has a new cast of "ultimate" teenagers trapped on an island by the psychotic bear Monokuma.
Much like the first game, students will have to kill another and get away with it in order to escape. After a murder happens, players will investigate the crime scene and find clues in order to find the killer during a courtroom battle.
The first DanganRonpa game was released in 2010 on the PlayStation Portable in Japan, and was ported to the PlayStation Vita earlier this year in North America as DanganRonpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. The second game was also firs released on the PSP in 2010 in Japan as Super DanganRonpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubo Gakuen.
DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair will be released on September 2nd, and a little while later in Europe only on the PlayStation Vita.
The following trailer has semi-spoilers for DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair. The first "punishment" is is briefly glimpsed, but without revealing who is getting it, and the first victim is apparently present during the courtroom scene. Still, some people wish to avoid even the slightest spoilers like this, so watch at your own discretion.
