Game of Thrones actor, Pedro Pascal has now signed on to play an important role in Wonder Woman 2.

Currently, no details have been released about Pascal’s part in the DC film. All that is reported is that the actor will play a pivotal role in the movie. This news only adds to the growing mystery that is Wonder Woman 2.

Pascal was recently seen as one of the main characters in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and is also one of the stars in the Netflix series, Narcos. There is speculation on what kind of role Pascal will play in the new movie. He could play a fellow hero, like in Game of Thrones, or he could take on a meaner role like many of this other movies. Based on Pascal’s track record, whatever role he is given, he will bring that character to life.

Gal Gadot will reprise her role as the Amazon princess, Wonder Woman. In the new DC movie, she will face off against one of her most iconic villain, Cheetah (who will be played by Kristen Wiig). The film will be set in the 1980s against the backdrop of the Cold War. Patty Jenkins will also return to direct the second movie.

Wonder Woman made her big screen debut in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice back in 2016. Since then, Wonder Woman got her own feature film in 2017, and was very highly received.

Shooting for Wonder Woman 2 is expected to start this June, with a full release on November 1, 2019.
