Originally released in 2010 for the Nintendo Wii (and later New 3DS XL), the first game of the acclaimed open world RPG series is coming to the Switch.

Enhanced graphics and controls tailor the experience for the system’s three ways to play. Called “the ultimate version” of the game, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will also come with a bonus epilogue made exclusively for the Switch as Future Connected. Players can access the chapter after finishing the main storyline to learn more about what happened to Shulk following his absence in later sequels.

A special Definitive Works edition packs the game with a premium art book and slip-case.

BioShock: The Collection

System: Nintendo Switch

Developer: 2K Games

Release: May 29, 2020

The next-generation remasters for BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite are jamming three distinct cities and their DLCs into the Switch. Its award-winning single player modes will also likely be running at 30 frames per second to fit the system’s capabilities while keeping tighter controls for superpowered gunfights.

Much like the Resident Evil: Triple Pack, Its front cover also notes players will need to be ready to download the games and have enough MicroSD card space for fitting the collection.

Borderlands: Legendary Collection

System: Nintendo Switch

Developer: 2K Games

Release: May 29, 2020

A far cry from the PlayStation Vita’s portable attempt with Borderlands 2, the Nintendo Switch is getting an all-expense trip to Pandora with three games. The DLC will also be included with the original Borderlands, The Pre-Sequel and aforementioned (hopefully better) Borderlands 2.

The over-the-top first person shooter games follow Vault Hunters exploring the wastelands of Pandora for fabled loot. They also battle against the Atlas corporation and hard-to-kill Handsome Jack for control of the planet.

XCOM 2 Collection

Developer: 2K Games

Release: May 29, 2020

A base game, War of the Chosen and four additional DLC packs make the Switch version of XCOM 2 a full experience. The turn-based follow-up to 2012’s Enemy Unknown expands on class-based teams centered on taking Earth back from an alien empire and the corrupt ADVENT Administration.

Following the studio’s decision to revisit the game in 2019, the Switch port benefits from the same engine used in Persona 5 along with a new plotline that connects Vincent to new character Qatherine (or Rin for short). Players can even control Joker who makes a special appearance in DLC included with Full Body.
