All of the home devices are designed in collaboration with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, cornerstone companies known for their advances in smart home devices. The new collection is easy to use, with one Apple Home App controlling all the devices from behind the scenes (and on your smartphone), with only a single download needed for the whole Apple Home Collection suite.

Aside from home accessories, Apple has also rolled out the red carpet for entertainment purposes, starting with the HomePod mini 2. The HomePod mini 2 is a lot like every other voice-controlled smart home speaker, and deploys Siri AI so users can control the mood at a moment’s notice.
HomePod mini 2 delivers 360-degree sound, whether it’s used as a single speaker, in a stereo pair, or as part of a multiroom audio setup. The smart speaker also comes with functionality to sync to other devices in the ecosystem, allowing users to have every device work in tandem with one another seamlessly. HomePod mini 2 can be pre-ordered starting today in pink, green, blue, white, and midnight, with availability beginning Friday, October 30, and it will be available for $199.99 (CAD). HomePod mini 2 doesn’t just chain to other HomePod mini 2 speakers; it can also attach itself to the new Apple TV 4K, “supercharged by Siri AI”.

The new Apple TV 4K features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence. This will transform how users search for, discover, and enjoy their favourite movies and TV shows through a full-screen Siri AI experience. On top of that, far-field microphones are deployed so users can talk to Siri without needing an extra device. Customers in Canada and 29 other countries and regions can pre-order Apple TV 4K (4th generation) starting today from the site and in the Apple Store app, with physical availability in stores beginning Friday, November 13. The Apple TV 4K (4th generation) is available for $429 (CAD).

The last item unveiled by Apple today is the Apple HomeView, an all-in-one entertainment and connectivity device. The HomeView arrives with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and deploys Siri AI functionality, meaning it can also connect to the rest of the ecosystem, including one or more HomePod mini 2 devices.
Like all of the other devices in this catalogue, the HomeView (equipped with Siri AI) can be used without having access to one of the signature Apple products, which include an iPad, iPhone or Mac. All of these items can be used without that loyalty, but if you do have other Apple products, the HomeView can really expand. Conversations that start on HomeView can seamlessly continue in the Siri app, which uses iCloud to privately sync history across a user’s products. This lets users pick up the conversation on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro, adding extra functionality for the Apple faithful.
Customers in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, the UK, and the U.S. can pre-order Apple HomeView in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space grey for $429 (CAD), and Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) in space grey and silver for $429 (CAD), starting today from Apple itself and in the Apple Store app.
That concludes all of the announcements made by Apple today. Consumers looking for more information on any of the extensive announcements by Apple can head to the official site, and some of the pre-orders are open now too.
