The Disney Lorcana companion app is available now on the Apple and Google Play stores and includes features like a Card Library, Deck Builder, and more!
Disney, alongside the developer Ravensburger, have announced their official Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game companion app, which launches today! Disney Lorcana is set to officially launch later this year in August, but players can get a headstart to checking out what sorts of decks they may want to build and what cards will be available through the new, comprehensive (and free) app—which is available on the Apple and Google Play stores for all iOS and Android devices. The digital library of cards and other information for the Disney Lorcana TCG will be incredibly useful for anyone looking to play the game!
Featuring a complete card catalog, which can be used by players to keep track of cards in their collection, while also being able to “wish list” cards they hope to add to their deck, the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game companion app is the perfect tool for checking out what sorts of cards that can be expected to be found at launch. Additionally, the app’s deckbuilding feature, which allows users to create and manage their own custom deck right from their phone, will be a game-changer for those planning out future builds.
Beyond these two, main features, the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game companion app will also feature “easily-accessible, how-to-play information and videos, a lore points counter tool, and the latest news updates from Disney Lorcana TCG.” As the game’s release draws nearer, fans and future mat-battlers across the globe can start to get pumped up for their Disney-related card-fighting at the end of the Summer, as the megacorporations’ vast intellectual properties, from Marvel to Star Wars, could all be tapped for future releases.
Attendees at Gen Con (August 3rd–6th, 2023, Indianapolis, IN) will have the first chance to purchase Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter card sets at the Ravensburger booth (#2001). After that exciting event and reveal, the full set of products and accessories will be available for purchase on August 18th, 2023 at local game stores and at Disney Theme Parks. Finally, starting on September 1st, 2023, fans can grab their cards at retailers like Target, Amazon, and Best Buy all around the globe, including at Toys R Us, Walmart, Mastermind, Indigo, and GameStop in Canada.
