In celebration of the inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023, EA Sports is allowing fans to jump behind the wheel of F1 23 for FREE next weekend. There are even event challenges fans can attempt.
EA Sports has unveiled its plans for the weekend of November 16 until November 20. Fans can play the latest F1 23 racing simulator absolutely FREE for the entire time period it is offered, and although fans may not ‘own’ the game, they can engage in all of the exciting event-based activities the title has in store for aspiring racers just in time for the inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023. EA Sports has upped the ante this time, providing events in and outside the game for fans to partake in. The event kickoff trailer can be seen below.
Senior Creative Director at Codemasters, Lee Mather, says, “Las Vegas is an iconic venue which takes in one of the most famous stretches of tarmac in the world,” with “I’ve loved watching the team build such a wonderful virtual recreation of the vibrance and energy of the Strip. We have been honoured to bring this new circuit to F1 23 for players everywhere to enjoy ahead of the real-world Grand Prix, and we hope everyone has as much fun as Daniel Ricciardo when they take on Sin City in-game this week” regarding the exciting upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023.
For the event period, fans will be able to experience the dazzling Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 for FREE in-game, and during the event, fans who would like to upgrade their free trial period to the full game can do so at a heavily reduced (up to) 60% off rate for the Xbox, PlayStation and Steam platforms. The event period between November 16 and November 20 will also provide racers with double XP across a multitude of game modes, and all progress will be transferrable over to the full F1 23 title if fans do decide to get in on the sale.
Professional Formula 1 racer Daniel Ricciardo also posted a video to commemorate his first look at the Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 strip ahead of the event, and fans who are attending in person can engage in the many events organizers have in store for attendees. Fans attending can head over to the official Formula 1 website for more information regarding the in-person events, but fans at home can begin their trial by simply installing the F1 23 title starting on November 16 to jump straight into the action.
