The Witcher's Ciri and Yennefer Join Fortnite Today

Fortnite is adding more characters from the world of The Witcher, as both Ciri and Yennefer will be available starting today for a limited time.

Both characters will be available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop until July 4 at 8 pm ET. Ciri costs 2000 V-Bucks in a bundle that includes a Basilisk glider, while Yennefer will cost 1500 V-Buck for just the character, or 1800 V-Bucks for a bundle with her pickaxe and raven emote.

In addition to the characters, there’s a bit of other Witcher content coming to Fortnite alongside. Each character brings their own islands, as well as cosmetic sets. You can see the full details on it all below.

  • CIRI’S ESCAPE: Escape from White Frost and traverse through different worlds on Ciri’s Escape island! Run, jump, and overcome obstacles on this journey to complete the island and earn the Confident Ciri Emoticon. Begin the voyage by jumping in through the Discover screen or island code 2776-4034-8400.
  • YENNEFER’S BATTLEGROUND: Overpower foes using swords, bows, and magical abilities and protect the team base on Yennefer’s Battleground island. Step foot onto the battleground, show the enemy team what it means to be a sorceress, and complete the island to earn the Annoyed Yennefer Emoticon. Join the fight by entering through Discover or island code 2862-9616-5689.
    • By completing both Ciri’s Escape and Yennefer’s Battleground islands, players can earn The Tale of Two Tempests Banner.
  • COSMETIC SETS: Stay prepared for a fight with the Ciri Outfit – included in her Outfit is the Zireael Back Bling that can also be unsheathed as the Zireael Sword Pickaxe. Master the arcane arts with the Yennefer of Vengerberg Outfit, and equip the Bird Skull Back Bling (included with Outfit). Check out the blog for a full list of accessories!

This is the second time The Witcher has been featured in Fortnite. Chapter 4 Season 1 added a new skin for Geralt of Rivia and a host of Witcher quests. Unfortunately, Geralt was only available until the end of that season, and currently can’t be unlocked.
