Here are the Latest Hardware and Software Sales Numbers in Japan 3

4Gamer just released this week’s latest Japanese sales numbers for both software and hardware sold, with the newly released Taiko no Tatsujin for the Nintendo Switch, taking the number one spot.

Unsurprisingly, most of the games featured on the top sales chart for this week seem to be Nintendo Switch titles, with Taiko no Tatsujin at the top with 69,94 units sold, followed by the ever-popular Octopath Traveler, sitting at 22,438 sold copies and finally, taking the number 3 spot, Splatoon 2, with 21,913 sold units.

In terms of hardware, the numbers also seem to reflect favourably towards Nintendo’s latest hybrid console, with an impressive 53,745 consoles sold this week. The standard PlayStation 4 comes in second place, with 14,035 systems sold, followed by the Nintendo 2DS, which takes third with a modest 8,296 sold units.
