Hogwarts Legacy Could Have A Potential Big Release Date Due To Companion Item Listings

It feels like Hogwarts Legacy has been in development since everyone’s enrolment letter got lost in the mail, but now with a new Amazon listing it seems there’s Lumos at the end of the tunnel.

With the gaming landscape loaded with upcoming AAA title releases, it’s notable to mention that almost every title has a release date. In this very same landscape, releases are constantly bogged down by delays, which aren’t necessarily a bad thing — looking at Cyberpunk 2077 — if a title can meet the level of quality fans demand. With the recent delay attached to Lord of the Rings: Gollum, and no concrete release for Hogwarts Legacy, it seemed the inevitable would happen, and it would garner another delay. Until today, when Amazon listed some companion items for the impending release.

Hogwarts Legacy Could Have A Potential Release Date

The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Unwritten Wizarding World has been listed with a placeholder release date of December 31, but today a new development has occurred, with customers who purchased the companion early via Amazon UK posting on Reddit that the item has an updated release date of December 6th.

As noted by VGC, another recent release in Gotham Knights received the same treatment with the title and companion item releasing on the same date, funnily enough not only was it on Amazon as well, but it’s also an art book. Hogwarts Legacy news has been intensely scarce since announcement, with everything either being vague, or that one 14-minute segment during the State of Play presentation back in March, that gave fans visual gameplay for the first time.

While fans are no doubt continuing to sift through everything that involves Hogwarts Legacy, there are no official announcements to report as of this posting, but chances are the Reddit that notices everything will devise the proper release date well before it’s even announced. As of now, fans just have to be patient for impending news.
