IFA 2025: TCL Unveils TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra Smartphone And Many More

As IFA 2025 kicks off from Sept. 5 to 9, TCL is announcing new products to expand its lineup of smartphones and smartwatches.

From protecting users’ eyesight to helping parents keep track of their children, TCL is showcasing the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra smartphone, NXTPAPER 5G Junior and MOVIETIME MT48 kids smartwatch. Here is a breakdown of the upcoming products unveiled at IFA 2025.

One of the biggest reveals during the IFA 2025 is the TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra smartphone, developed in collaboration with TCL CSOT. Continuing to improve the NXTPAPER technology, the smartphone will feature the latest NXTPAPER 4.0 Technology, designed to protect the user’s eyesight with seven eye-care technologies. The technologies incorporated are natural light display, zero flickering, blue light purification, reflection-free and anti-glare viewing, dim-light eye protection, circadian screen comfort, and TruePaper Restoration.

Diving into the specifications of the TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and features a 7.2-inch display with NXTPAPER 4.0 technology. It comes with 24 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 50-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 32-megapixel front camera and a 5,200 mAh battery.

For productivity, users can take advantage of AI-powered reading and writing tools to enhance note-taking on the TCL Note app, along with Max Ink Mode for a distraction-free reading experience. To improve camera performance, MuseFilm Imaging technology adds new levels of artistic expression to photography.

The TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra launches in September 2025 in Europe, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region. The 256 GB model with bundled accessories will be available for a recommended retail price of €499, while the 512 GB version will sell for €549.

To protect children’s eyesight from prolonged screen exposure, the TCL NXTPAPER 5G Junior features a 6.7-inch NXTPAPER display with Digital Detox Mode. This creates a distraction-free viewing experience that enhances focus and encourages healthy digital habits. The device also includes parental controls powered by Google Family Link, offering content filters, real-time location tracking and screen time management to help parents keep their children safe.

In terms of specifications, the TCL NXTPAPER 5G Junior has an HD+ 6.7-inch hole-punch NXTPAPER display, 8 GB of RAM with an additional 10 GB virtual RAM expansion, 256 GB of storage and support for microSD cards up to 2 TB. The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main and macro lens, a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and comes with a 5,200 mAh battery.

The TCL NXTPAPER 5G Junior with 256 GB of storage and two protective cases launches in Europe in October 2025 for a recommended retail price of €249.

TCL MOVIETIME MT48

Following the release of the MOVIETIME MT46, TCL has introduced the MOVIETIME MT48. Designed to help children safely explore technology under parental supervision, the smartwatch includes dual-frequency GPS (L1+L5) for location tracking and the ability to set customized safe zones through the TCL Connect app. It also offers multiple communication options, including 4G video calls, VoLTE calls, instant voice messages, SMS texting, photo sharing, group chats and a one-tap SOS button for emergencies.

In addition to safety features, the MOVIETIME MT48 includes School Mode to reduce distractions, Reminder notifications to help children stay on task, and a kid-safe AI tool that converts voice prompts into images. The device is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance and comes with a 900 mAh battery that lasts up to 2.5 days on a single charge.

Available in blue, cosmic pink, lunar cream and nebula grey, the MOVIETIME MT48 launches in Germany, the U.K., Spain, Italy and France in October 2025 at a retail price of €150.
