Today, Disney released the teaser trailer for Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the highly anticipated fifth installment of the iconic franchise.
The film stars Harrison Ford as the legendary hero archaeologist and is directed by James Mangold (Ford v Ferrari, Logan). The film will open in theatres on June 30, 2023.

The wait is finally over! Earlier today, we got our first glimpse of Indiana Jones’ final outing, and boy did it not disappoint. This time the infamous globe-trotting adventurer is on the hunt for a mysterious artifact known as the Dial of Destiny, teaming up with his precocious goddaughter.
The trailer sees the pair swerving through traffic in three-wheeled taxis in what looks like a country in the Middle East, Indy riding on horseback through late 1960s New York, and we even get a snippet of a de-aged Ford as Indy during a flashback sequence where he’s being held prisoner by Nazis inside a European castle.

Starring along with Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory), John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark), Shaunette Renee Wilson (Black Panther), Thomas Kretschmann (Das Boot), Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Oliver Richters (Black Widow), Ethann Isidore (Mortel) and Mads Mikkelsen (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore).
Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, is once again composing the score.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hits theatres on June 30th, 2023. There’s been no word yet on whether there will be IMAX showings of the film, but if past tentpole movies are any indication, especially Disney-related ones, we shouldn’t have to worry.
