Konami has filed a trademark application for a Silent Hill themed gambling arcade machine.
P.T might just be a ghostly memory of what was once the beginnings of a new Silent Hill title, but just like Metal Gear Solid, it looks like Konami is bringing back Silent Hill in the form of a new gambling machine.
It’s unclear on what exactly the new patent will result in regarding the type of machine, but there is a good chance Konami is planning on producing a Pachinko machine, which is a very popular form of gambling in Japan.

The last true Silent Hill game to come out was in 2012, with the release of both Silent Hill: Downpour and Silent Hill: Book of Memories (which was exclusive to the PlayStation Vita).
Fans wanting to fill the scary game hole shaped voids in their lives but are too spooked on the thought of gambling, are encouraged to check out games like Resident Evil 7 and The Evil Within 2, which both keep the horror game spirit alive (undead?).
A Silent Hill themed coin-based game has existed in Japan since 2015.
