After recent rumours indicated that Infinity Ward was preparing to announce 2016’s Call of Duty within the next week, it seems the PlayStation Store accidentally jumped the gun.
The leak was spotted by Redditor Goontmyfries, who noticed that a banner for the currently unannounced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare could be found in the North American PlayStation Store’s Trending section.
The listing was quickly removed from the store, but not before it could be saved as a screenshot.
Some fans speculate the word “Infinity” may hint at a remastered collection of previous COD games, while some fans believe this proves last month’s “COD in Space” rumours. What Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be is anyone’s guess, as the PlayStation Store listing contained no further details on the title.
