The Project Sophia is the globe’s first-ever modular gaming desk concept, which looks like it was ripped right out of Mass Effect. Imagine a desktop and a desk decided to have offspring. Sophia delivers the opportunity to customize your workspace further than ever before, with up to 13 separate modules that let the user personalize their workstation.

Vice President of Growth at Razer, Richard Hashim said “Project Sophia is our futuristic vision of a multi-purpose gaming and workstation set-up which meets the very different needs of a variety of PC uses, negating the need to move between workspaces,” calling it the “future of the battle station.”

The latest Intel processor and NVIDIA GPU are sheltered by the chassis of the desk that magnetically connects to the undercarriage of the tabletop, which caters to those who like to upgrade, simplistically.

Based on the Enki Pro chair design, this new advancement allows for the maximum immersive capability these innovative products can give their customers.

President and CEO of D-BOX, Sébastien Mailhot said “With the Enki Pro HyperSense, Razer and D-BOX have built the most advanced gaming chair to date,” including “Our combined efforts have resulted in a product that physically transforms the experience of games, movies, and music through the use of cutting-edge high-fidelity haptic feedback. Although a release date announcement is still a ways off, these two peripherals can give the player more immersion than ever before, and together they can work with yet another new sharp announcement made today.

The program currently includes partners such as Nanoleaf, LIFX, Yeelight, and Twinkly but with the Smart Home Program, anyone could become one. The Razer Smart Home App and Chroma Smart Home Program are due to launch in the first half of 2022.
