A new Solo: A Star Wars Story TV spot titled Risk is now available.
The new sizzle reel spot puts the spotlight on some notable characters including Donald Glover’s portrayal of Lando Calrissian and the Force Awaken’s Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. Other notable characters include Woody Harrelson as Solo’s mentor Beckett, Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke as Kira, Thandie Newton of Westworld fame, Paul Bettany from Avengers and Phoebe Waller-Bridge from Fleabag.
Solo: A Star Wars Story recently changed directors with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller leaving and Ron Howard, (best known for films such as A Beautiful Mind and The Da Vinci Code) stepping in.
The upcoming movie seems to be shaping up to be a worthy side story based on one of the most beloved and iconic characters present within the massive Star Wars universe of mixed media.
For anyone unfamiliar with the upcoming Star Wars feature, Solo is one of the first spin-off movies from Disney that aims to flesh out the series past the main numbered releases. As the name implies, the movie will show the early exploits of Han Solo prior to his adventures with Luke and Leia.
The new TV spot can be viewed above. Solo: A Star Wars Story will be out in theatres May 25, 2018.
