Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Gets New Exciting Details As The Creator Keeps Teasing It

It’s no secret that Stardew Valley Update 1.6 is on the way, and Stardew Creator Eric Barone is hard at work on the update, and leaking update 1.6 details before the update lands.

As is the norm with Stardew Valley updates, update 1.6 is coming along, and as the launch is right around the corner on March 19, Creator Eric Barone has been hard at work teasing the update every chance he gets. He’s gone far enough to suggest he will reveal a single patch note each day until the release of update 1.6, and he claimed this over on X (formerly Twitter). That post can be seen below.

Since that March 12th post, Stardew Valley‘s creator has been hard at work posting exactly as he stated, a single line of patch notes, without spoilers, each day until the 19th launch date. So far, Barone has revealed the following patch notes:

Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Patch Notes Revealed So Far

Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Gets New Exciting Details As The Creator Keeps Teasing It
  • March 12 – Fixed bug where it was faster to harvest left-to-right than right-to-left.
  • March 13 – Extended the area of effect of downward-facing melee attacks.
  • March 14 – Reduced the amount of time you need to push against a pet before they start shaking and then let you pass through them (from 1.5 seconds to .75 seconds).

It was a grand revelation to most Stardew Valley fans over on Reddit who believed since the title launched that it was faster to harvest from left-to-right than right-to-left, and with the patch note revelation, it appears fans were correct in that assumption all along. Fans should note the ConcernedApe X account has yet to release the patch note for today, but judging from the timing of yesterday’s (it was 23 hours ago), it should happen within the next hour or so. Fans can also get all of their Stardew Valley news from the official ConcernedApe X account as it is posted.
