VIZ Media has announced that One-Punch Man Season 2 will be premiering on April 2019.
The teaser posted on the company’s Twitter page featured protagonist Saitama along with Genos as they use their strength to fight against a villain, Garou. The words “Time to carry out evil” and “This’ll be a slaughter party” are heard within the teaser.

One-Punch Man is based on a manga series illustrated by Yusuke Murata and created by ONE. It follows the adventures of Saitama, who wanted to become a hero. However, after a few years of special training, he discovered that he can take out enemies with one single punch. While he dukes it out against enemies on a regular basis, he soon notices that being too powerful is not as thrilling anymore. The audience is then left to wonder if a hero can be too strong.
