Warframe Gains The Voices of FFXVI’s Ben Starr & BG3’s Neil Newbon

Warframe Gets Some Star Power

Ben Starr and Neil Newbon Join Cast of Warframe

The Game Awards nominees Neil Newbon (Baldurs Gate 3) and Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI) join the voice cast of Warframe for its upcoming cinematic quests.

Digital Extremes, developers of the popular online game, have announced that TGA (The Game Awards) nominees for Best Performance Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3) and Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI) are joining the voice cast for the game’s upcoming Whispers in the Walls and Warframe 1999 cinematic quests.

The role that Neil Newbon will take on is shrouded in mystery, but we do know that the character is called “Fibonacci” and is the leader of the new “Cavia” syndicate in the Whispers in the Walls. Newbon is no stranger to big roles in games, with his previous performances including Elijah Kamski and Gavin Reed in Detroit: Become Human, Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3, and Karl Heisenberg in Resident Evil Village.

Ben Starr will take on the role of Arthur, a character that was first introduced at TennoCon 2023 when Digital Extremes first unveiled its Whispers in the Walls and Warframe 1999 cinematic updates. Starr has seen his profile rise quite a bit recently with his excellent portrayal of protagonist Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI, and is no stranger to voice acting, featuring on a number of titles, including Arknights, A Way Out, and Quantum Break.

The game is a free-to-play action RPG, third-person shooter multiplayer game that originally released back in 2013. Despite a slow start, Warframe has seen a surge in player count, with nearly 50 million registered players as of 2019. With 16 additional expansions thus far, there is a lot of content to keep things interesting for players.

Players will be able to play Whispers in the Walls when the update becomes available for all platforms later this month, whereas Warframe 1999 will be available sometime next year.
