Raven Software Says Sorry For Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 Reloaded Issues

Right after the big anti-cheat update yesterday, Raven Software issued an apology for the state of Call of Duty Warzone after the Season 1 Reloaded update, considering fans are reporting many problems.

The studio behind Call of Duty Warzone, Raven Software, has issued an apology on X (formerly Twitter) today due to issues that have arisen from the Season 1 Reloaded update. Fans have reported a large swath of issues, ranging from being unable to log in with an error sign to the inability to change loadouts mid-match. The apology from Raven Software can be seen below.

Raven states, “Yesterday’s update shipped with some of that work, and we unfortunately encountered a conflict between live player data and our servers. Our teams were made immediately aware of the issues and began investigating shortly after the update went live” on how they faced the issues with Call of Duty Warzone‘s Season 1 Reloaded update. They then continued with “We – as devs – love this game and apologize for the disruption that resulted from these events. Please know that we hold ourselves to a high standard and yesterday’s issues did not align with that.”

As fast as fan response was for the issues, it has also been quick to respond to the apology, with some fans cheering the decision for Raven to come out and apologize. Users like CharlieINTEL said “Wow actual transparency on issues, nice W” towards the apology, and another user Fifakill_ said “Love to see this. Transparency is so important for us to not feel confused and betrayed and so unnecessary hate isn’t directed at developers.”

Fans have been surprised and have felt respected and heard by Raven Software’s transparent approach to server issues for Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 Reloaded, and by being transparent, they were able to fix the myriad of issues that troubled the multiplayer title. Fans can shoot over to the official Raven Software X account for more info, but as it stands it’s safe to say the fans and developers won the war today.
