Diablo III: Season 14 Players Will Embrace Their Inner Treasure Goblin

Diablo III: Season 14 Players Will Embrace Their Inner Treasure Goblin 1

While Diablo III players rush to the top rank in the Season 13 leaderboards, Blizzard announced the Season 14 — greed. This will be the start of a new seasonal thematic concept, and throughout it, players will get to embrace their inner Treasure Goblin.

In keeping with the theme, Treasure Goblin spawns in Diablo III: Season 14 will be doubled, and therefore doubling players’ chances at gigantic loot, gem, and gold hauls. Each time you hear those skittering footsteps and that kind of disconcerting laugh, the goblin will travel with an exact duplicate of themselves. It will be two times the loot, two the times the more chasing you’ll have to do, but twice the fun.

This effect, however, will not affect goblins you encounter using the Bandit Shrines, Goblin “Rift” packs, or in the Realm of Greed. As for Rainbow Goblins, those Duplicate Whimsydale portals they make will have the same instance of Whimsydale.

What if you find too much good loot? Or you just like to hoard items? Well, for the dedicated Nephalem who diligently grinds their way through the seasons and has each time reached Conqueror at the end of their Season Journey, extra stash tabs will be rewarded

Players who haven’t earned four stash tabs yet can still unlock another one by completing a few Conqueror tier tasks. These include:

  • Completing a level 70 Torment XIII Rift in under five minutes
  • Completing Greater Rift 60 alone
  • Completing two Conquests
  • Killing Butcher at level 70 in Torment XIII in under 30 seconds
  • Killing Greed on Torment XIII
  • Augmenting an Ancient item with a Level 50 plus Legendary Gem
  • Leveling up three Legendary Gems to 55

In terms of Conquests, they will be rotating as well. Avarice and Avarita will be returning to Diablo IIISeason 14, and it’s up to you to make every gold piece count. During your rift runs, you will also be challenged to kick it into full throttle for Speed Demon and Need for Speed.

Remember those Legendary Gems? On a Good Day and I Can’t Stop will congratulate you on your high ranking ones.

For those Nephalem who enjoy a good solo game, Divinity and Lionhearted will have you climb the Greater Rift heights, and Years of War and Dynasty will challenge you on your master of six classes.

Eyeing Haedrig’s Gifts to get Class Sets? These are the sets granted by Diablo III: Season 14:

  • Barbarian: The Legacy of Raekor
  • Crusader: Armor of Akkhan
  • Demon Hunter: Embodiment of the Marauder
  • Monk: Inna’s Reach
  • Necromancer: Pestilence Master’s Shroud
  • Witch Doctor: Zunimassa’s Haunt
  • Wizard: Delsere’s Magnum Opus

Get ready to satiate your greed very soon, as Diablo III: Season 14 will begin on June 15 at 5:00 p.m. PDT in North America.
