Anime fans will be happy to know that Crunchyroll will have a booth at Fan Expo Canada 2023, offering plenty of loot and activities.
Listen up, anime fans! If you will be attending Fan Expo Canada 2023 this year, be sure to stop at the Crunchyroll booth. Crunchyroll confirmed this week (Thursday, August 10, 2023) that they will have a booth giving out goodies, an industry panel, and airing special Canadian premieres. In addition to the photo opportunities around the booth, there will apparently be a unique Jujutsu Kaisen Experience set up.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans will be able to relive their favourite moments from the series, as it will be up on display at the Crunchyroll booth. The Crunchyroll staff will be giving away free swag, such as branded lanyards, Jujutsu Kaisen character cards, and posters for Spy x Family, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and more.
If all of that is not enough, Crunchyroll will bring a Premium Member Arcade to Fan Expo Canada 2023. It allows Crunchyroll subscribers to win special prizes aside from the above free giveaways. Fans will also have a chance to get a free Solo Leveling postcard for attending the industry panel.
Fan Expo Anime Premieres
Speaking more about the industry panel, it will be hosted by the two biggest faces from Crunchyroll: Lauren Moore and Tim Lyu! They will be responsible for showing fans at Fan Expo Canada 2023 some early screenings of a few upcoming anime series. Here is a list of premieres coming to Canada:
- The Rising of the Shield Hero – Season 3 (Episodes 1 and 2)
- MF Ghost (Episode 1)
- The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2 (Not confirmed how many episodes will premiere)
- I Shall Survive Using Potions! (Episode 1)
- Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange (Not confirmed how many episodes will premiere)
Apart from the Crunchyroll fun, there will also be a bunch of voice actors from the aforementioned anime series (among other series). This year, it has been confirmed that Ryan Colt Levy (Denji in Chainsaw Man), Christopher Sabat (Zoro in One Piece), Zach Aguilar (Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), Sarah Wiedenheft (Power in Chainsaw Man), Megan Shipman (Anya Forger in SPY x FAMILY), Ian Sinclair (Mezo Shoji in My Hero Academia), Natalie Van Sistine (Yor Forger in SPY x FAMILY) and many more will be attending.
