Everything You Need To Know About Anime Expo 2023 1

The annual Anime Expo 2023 will be happening again this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center, featuring anime’s biggest guests and panels.

One of the biggest anime conventions in North America is back for another! Anime Expo 2023 will be returning to the Los Angeles Convention from July 1-4, inviting anime fans of all ages in North America and from around the world. As per usual, the guest list is stacked; the panels and autograph signings will be fun for fan and celebrity interactions, and there will be plenty of premiere and news drops guaranteed. Aside from San Diego Comic-Con, this is one of the largest conventions that has been known to host over 100,000 fans across the four-day event.

Here is everything you need to know about Anime Expo 2023:

Registration has been open since January 2023, so definitely grab your tickets soon. There is much to see and shop for. Kicking things off, the MAPPA studio panel will take place on July 1, where the CEO and producer will most likely recap some of the announced shows they presented at the MAPPA Stage Show. The same day will also have the first round of Crunchyroll Presents, debuting some early screenings or special additional content coming to the anime streamer.

Day 2 is expected to be even better with the MAPPA x Crunchyroll panel that will likely have the production staff talking about their projects with Crunchyroll, such as Attack on Titan The Final Season, Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill and Hell’s Paradise. Studio Bones will also be celebrating their 25th anniversary on the same day. The studio has been famously known for such anime series as Mob Psycho 100, Bungo Stray Dogs, and one of the most popular shows, My Hero Academia. A separate panel was said to exclusively show off the world premiere of the first episode of Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5.

Day 3 seems to be a massive day for Crunchyroll panels galore as they continue round 2 to 4 of Crunchyroll Presents. Some early screenings are expected to take place for shows such as The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 Episode 1, MF Ghost Episode 13, Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Season 2 Episode 1, and more. Day 4 will be filled with more anticipated premieres like I’m in Love with the Villainess Episodes 1 and 2, along with Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3 Episodes 1 and 2. If you want to see a whole lot of anime content before anyone else, this is the place to be.
