A Weekend of FEAR

The annual Spooky Frightmare in the Falls 2023 (FITF) schedule has been announced and like every year, attendees can expect a scary experience for the entire weekend.

Since 2017, Frightmare in the Falls has been bringing terror to the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, and all 50,000 square feet of fright will be accessible to attendees for the whole three-day weekend. There are Q&A’s with notable horror icons, celebrity appearances, panels, autographs and much more hosted at the annual event taking place from October 27 until October 29. There’s even a Sons of Anarchy Reunion taking place with Ron Perlman (also from the Hellboy films) and Kim Coates on Saturday, October 28th, assuring there may be something for everyone at the massive event.

Organizer for Frightmare in the Falls, James Ponce said in 2019 that FITF is “A horror experience like no other. Whether you attend to see costumes, shop the exhibit hall or meet your favourite celebrity guest, there is so much to see and do at the event. There really is nothing else like it in Canada.” Halloween movie icons like Cary Elwes (Saw), Keith David (The Thing), Kristy Swanson (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), and Nick Castle (Halloween).

Frightmare in the Falls sports a venue of standard con fare, with countless masks and attractions on display and many photo opportunities for attendees. Years past have had attractions like a hearse from The Munsters, A life-sized Jabba the Hut from Star Wars, and many cosplayers walking about like their own attraction sporting artwork they’ve worked hard to bring to life.
