In the brief trailer for Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, many of the game’s mechanics and activities are shown. The world of Anthos seems massive in scale, and the objective of the world is for the player character to reconnect the world of Anthos’ villages. Along the way, players can meet a myriad of fascinating characters such as Harvest Goddesses and Sprites, series mainstays that have been in nearly every Harvest Moon entry.

This time around, Anthos is reeling from a massive volcanic eruption that could have doomed the world, but the Harvest Sprites and Goddesses of Anthos used their remaining power to spare the people and livestock from meeting an unfortunate end. Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos picks up 10 years after this catastrophe, and it’s up to the player to revive the Harvest entities and reconnect the villages of Anthos.
