Wizards of the Coast has announced a new Secret Lair drop, and to the benefit of fans, it will be print-to-order, and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to The Global Fund for Women.

Wizards of the Coast has announced the limited Secret Lair x Global Fund for Women: Their Magic is Limitless, a new Magic: The Gathering philanthropy drop created in support of Global Fund for Women. For the uninitiated, the Global Fund for Women is one of the world’s leading foundations for gender justice and has partnered with more than 5,000 organizations in over 180 countries, providing more than $250 million in grants to help combat gender injustice.

Not only will fans be donating to this cause with the latest drop, but there are also a slew of cards that are absolutely worth the price of admission to add to the collection.

A lot of the time, Secret Lair releases a focus on a singular artist who illustrates the entire set (like Frank Franzetta artwork drops), and these sets are steeped in artwork that follows similar designs and art styles. For the Global Fund for Women: Their Magic is Limitless drop, seven women artists have been recruited to illustrate some of the most effective cards from MTG history, and they’re veterans in crafting beautiful Magic: The Gathering card artwork.

Senior Director of Secret Lair, Lindsey Bartell says, “Their Magic is Limitless celebrates the women of Magic, both on the cards and behind the drop,” adding, “From the characters to the artists to the creative team, every part of it is rooted in connection, mentorship, and the many ways women uplift each other. We’re proud to support Global Fund for Women with a drop shaped by the same spirit it celebrates: women creating, leading, mentoring, and championing one another,” regarding the new philanthropic drop.

With Secret Lair x Global Fund for Women: Their Magic is Limitless, WOTC has reprinted some of the more heroic cards featuring heroic women to grace the front of Magic cards. LIliana, Breya, Marwyn and Lathril (some of the most heroic/fearsome women found in the planes of MTG) are front and centre, and fans will get a copy of the following seven listed cards for $39.99 in non-foil, and $49.99 in foil:

  • 1x Lathril, Blade of the Elves
  • 1x Path of Ancestry
  • 1x Cultivate
  • 1x Sol Ring
  • 1x Finale of Devastation
  • 1x Coat of Arms
  • 1x Dark Ritual

This celebration also brings some of the pricier reprints directly to fans, and the best decision about this philanthropic drop (like every Extra Life drop before it) is that fans will not have to wait in a virtual checkout queue to net a copy. The Secret Lair x Global Fund for Women: Their Magic is Limitless drop will be printed to order, so every fan who puts in an order will be assured to receive the seven cards of the drop, and it will not sell out while you wait in line like previous drops.

It’s worth mentioning another Secret Lair has been recently announced for July 13, and it brings Amsterdam’s Festival in a Box to the global stage. This one will unfortunately be on a first-come, first-served basis and will undoubtedly sell out.

These cards have serious single value as well, sweetening the pot for players who have yet to get a copy for their collections. Finale of Devastation (by itself) is currently selling at its cheapest for over $49.99 (it’s sitting around $51 on TCGPlayer), and that’s more than the retail price for the seven cards listed. This solid value of reprints, and the guarantee it won’t sell out, is everything fans have wanted in a drop, and Wizards brought the goods.

Secret Lair x Global Fund for Women: Their Magic is Limitless will be available at MagicSecretLair.com from July 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EST through August 3, 2026, at 2:59 AM EST. Unlike previous drops, everyone who shows up to the drop (and they will be allowed to) will get these cards.
