The team at GPTRACK50 have uncorked a ton of new details about Stupid Never Dies, including the game’s release date in October.
The independent studio founded by veteran action game developers (responsible for Devil May Cry, DRAGON’S DOGMA, and the Resident Evil Franchise), GPTRACK50, has unleashed a wealth of news about their upcoming zombie-centric action-RPG Stupid Never Dies. The dev team brought a brand new trailer and revealed the title’s global launch date of October 21, 2026 (for PlayStation5 and PC). Additionally, GPTRACK50 announced that they have entered into a co-publishing agreement with SEGA, which will be responsible for the game’s worldwide publishing and distribution on release.
In celebration of the new partnership and release date announcement, the team shared a new trailer featuring one of their most important characters in Stupid Never Dies, Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers. He’s a mysterious entity-zombie protagonist the player will encounter during his descent. All of the new action can be seen in the trailer on GPTRACK50’s YouTube channel.
Stupid Never Dies puts you in the shoes of Davy, a to-himself zombie living at the very bottom of monster society. Your mission is to defeat enemies, level up, and collect strange items to grow stronger on your quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life. Oh, and it’s set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, so there are a lot of threats. Players will be able to steal enemy abilities, customize their zombie Davy with otherworldly upgrades, and experience solid ARPG combat all in the name of the glorious undead (that never dies).

Before release, on August 4, players can listen to the first tracks of Stupid Never Dies’ hard-hitting pop-punk soundtrack, with the release of two tracks (the game’s official theme songs). Available to stream via Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and other major music streaming platforms, players can listen to the songs that will push the narrative forward (and they’re vocalized by the protagonists!). The tracks include the Ending Theme, Restless, Reckless, Never Die, Fearless (Performed by Davy), and the Opening Theme, Stupid Never Dies (Performed by Davy & Julia).
Stupid Never Dies will be available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 on October 21, 2026, followed by a Japan release on October 22.
