As Ezra Miller is struck by ongoing legal problems, Warner Bros. reportedly dropped Miller from the Flash role in future DC films following The Flash.

According to Deadline, the recent scandals conducted by Miller have put Warner Bros. Discovery CEO Zaslav and his team on edge, as they face what could potentially be their “first movie crisis.” In the end, Zaslav decided to “lean in toward making the movie a hit and then drop Miller if they can’t straighten things out.” as reported.

This year Ezra Miller was arrested twice in Hawaii on charges of disorderly conduct and second-degree assault. It was only recently reported by Daily Beast that a court order was issued on Wednesday by Greenfield District Court in Massachusetts when a mother and her 12-year-old child were granted a temporary harassment order against them.

The family and a visiting neighbour were brought into an interview. They all spoke of an incident that occurred during a social gathering. At the time the neighbour believed he was “under the influence” and burst out in front of his face.

A child who was present at the social gathering also mentioned the uncomfortable behaviour Ezra Miller exhibited when they talked. “They automatically were just weirdly drawn to me and kept talking about how they love my outfit and love my style, and kept going on and on about how it was great,” and stating that “It was really uncomfortable. I was really nervous. I was scared to be around them after he’d yelled at my mother and she was crying.”

With multiple allegations continuing to build up, it has made it difficult for Zaslav to market The Flash that was upcoming on June 23, 2023. The movie was supposed to be a big foundation for the DCEU and had a $200 million budget that would bring back Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman.

“There is no winning in this for Warner Bros,” one source tells Deadline, “This is an inherited problem for Zaslav. The hope is that the scandal will remain at a low level before the movie is released, and hope for the best to turn out.”

DC fans were excited about The Flash, though recent cases from the movie’s star, Ezra Miller could cause some mixed feelings.
