Here is a list of potential events and people you must check out at Lucca Comics & Games 2026, taking place from October 28 to November 1.
Lucca Comics & Games is celebrating its 60th anniversary, bringing highly requested guests and fun events for its visitors. If it is your first time attending Lucca Comics & Games, it can be a bit daunting since the whole town transforms. There are countless activations, panels, meet-ups, and events all scattered throughout the downtown core of Lucca, Italy. The Lucca-based convention will be taking place from October 28 to November 1. Here is a small, specially chosen list of potential things to check out at the convention this week.
To kick things off, the movie area is stacked this year. Netflix returns to Lucca Comics & Games with an unforgettable KPop Demon Hunters experience at the Baluardo San Donato. Visitors can sing, dance, transform, and test their skills as true demon hunters. On Sunday, November 1st, there will also be a cosplayers’ parade heading to Cinema Astra, where the sing-along screening of KPop Demon Hunters: Sing with Us will take place.
The Harry Potter universe is a major spotlight this year at the previously announced HBO Max pavilion in Piazza San Michele, entirely dedicated to the new HBO Original series Harry Potter arriving at Christmas. On Saturday, October 31st at 4:30 pm at the Cinema Astra, the documentary, Finding Harry: The Art Behind the Magic, will take audiences behind the scenes of the series, recounting the creative and artisanal work that shaped this new return to Hogwarts, from the sets and costumes to the creation of the creatures and effects.

Disney+ is the biggest highlight of Lucca Comics & Games 2026 for the movie area because fans of the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series have a lot to look forward to. On Friday, October 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Teatro del Giglio, actors Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri will meet the public, along with co-creator and executive producer Jonathan E. Steinberg and executive producer Dan Shotz, for a panel. This will be a great chance to hear what is in store for Season 3, premiering on November 20th. On Saturday, October 31st, at 2:00 p.m., in Piazza San Michele, the community will also gather for the Camp Half-Blood Gathering—Percy Jackson & The Olympians Fan Gathering, with surprises for all fans.
Visitors can also visit the week-long Percy Jackson Experience. It is an immersive pavilion in Piazza della Magione where fans can test their skills in the worlds of Thalia, Percy, and Annabeth. After a welcome from the iconic character Grover, each group will receive a map and a quest to complete. Through evocative settings, interactions, and photo opportunities, participants will face three challenges inspired by the characters’ powers and exploits, collecting the symbols needed to reach the Oracle and reveal the final part of the prophecy.
For the Pokémon TCG collectors out there, be sure to snag a specially made Pikachu card with the Lucca60 logo stamped. These will be distributed at the Welcome Desks in Santa Croce, San Regolo and the Polo Fiere (open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm). To receive it, present your admission ticket (ticket, season ticket or pass) to Lucca Comics & Games 2026 and show your bracelet. Each admission ticket will entitle you to only one card, not just the bracelet.

Actor Joe Manganiello returns to Lucca as special curator of the Lucca60 program dedicated to Dungeons & Dragons. The biggest spotlight in D&D is that beloved settings like Dragonlance and Greyhawk are coming back, with authors Tracy Hickman and Laura Hickman teasing what is coming for Dragonlance. As for video games, there is plenty to see. Plaion is bringing SEGA and ATLUS to Casermetta San Paolino, offering Lucca Comics & Games 2026 visitors a preview of Alien: Isolation 2, Stranger Than Heaven, and Persona 4 Revival. There will also be a meet-and-greet and panel for Alien: Isolation 2 with developers Al Hope and Ana Sopikova.
SQUARE ENIX is celebrating the Final Fantasy VII Remake series at Lucca Comics & Games with legendary producer Yoshinori Kitase, who will host a Community Q&A dedicated to the legacy of the original game and the Remake series. Kitase-san will also have a dedicated fan signing event. Be sure to drop by the Executioner’s House, which is a showcase dedicated to Final Fantasy VII Revelation—featuring new information, giveaways, and merchandise for sale.
Now, the people you definitely do not want to miss from the video game industry are Hideki Kamiya (Devil May Cry, Ōkami, Bayonetta) and former Senior Artist at Rockstar Games and artistic face of Grand Theft Auto, Stephen Bliss. Additionally, CD PROJEKT RED is hosting two panels: “Emotional Damage: How Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Makes You Feel”, with showrunner Bartosz Stybor and executive producer Saya Elder. The second panel is “Returning to the Path”, which is meant to highlight The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past, showing off a demo. Remedy Entertainment’s Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen will have a dedicated panel explaining the concepts around creating the world of CONTROL Resonant, which is available to play now.
There are plenty of things to check out at Lucca Comics & Games 2026! While this may only be a small fraction of what you can do at the massive convention in Italy, it will definitely help you get some ideas. Tickets are still on sale and will continue to be sold on-site too. For any quick updates, be sure to check in on the official homepage for details.
