Whitethorn Games’ Botany Manor is Out Now!

Solve The Secrets Of Long Forgotten Flora

Botany Manor

Whitehorn Games, publisher of many easy-going games such as APICO and Lake, has just released their new puzzle game, Botany Manor.

Botany Manor is a first-person puzzle game developed by Balloon Studios set in a stately home in 19th-century England. Players take on the role of Arabella Greene, a retired botanist who lives in the manor. After a long career, she has amassed a collection of rare plants that require some research to help them live again. To do so, players will need to explore her manor, looking for research material scattered around the home, from gardens to bedrooms, to determine the ideal habitat to help the flora flourish.  A launch trailer was released to celebrate Whitethorn Games’ Botany Manor’s release, which you can watch below.

Some key gameplay features in Botany Manor involve looking for clues around Arabella’s home to determine the correct circumstances regarding each plant she wishes to flourish. Players will explore her home while taking in the relaxing atmosphere of the environment. You can pick up, flip, turn, and rotate various items found around the estate to piece together clues to solve each plant-based puzzle. As you explore and solve each puzzle, you will also learn a bit more about Arabella’s life and career as a botanist and the challenges she faced during the 19th century. There is also a calming soundtrack composed by Thomas Williams to help players immerse themselves in the environment of Botany Manor.

An announcement trailer for Botany Manor on the official Nintendo of America channel now boasts over 250 thousand viewers. Players most interested in learning about plant life will be thrilled to get their hands on this game as they solve puzzles and gain insight into all sorts of flora that exist in the real world.

Botany Manor is now available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC via Steam. Until April 14, Players can purchase the game on Steam at a 10% discount.
