As more devices need fast chargers, the hunt is always on for the ideal solution for charging your most important gear. This is where Ugreen’s Nexode 140W charger comes into the picture. Being able to deliver power to keep even your most expensive devices going, all while being portable to fit in your bag, is no small feat. There are plenty that line the shelves of Amazon, but many are suspect, flimsy or just won’t work with the vast majority of devices. While a brand I was not that aware of beforehand, having used the Ugreen Nexode 140W charger, it has quickly become a must-have tool while on the go.

There are plenty of portable chargers on the market, but most do not offer 140W of power, all while being relatively small. It’s about the same size as a MacBook power adapter but has two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. The charger offers a total power output of 140W, while the top USB-C port maxes out at 100W with the USB-A port can only do 22.5W. This means this one charger can split its output between three devices, giving most enough power to run at peak efficiency.

The Nexode 140W Charger is a great option for those looking for a smaller, more compact charger. It’s about 20% smaller than Apple’s 140W single-port charger and comes in a matte black/gray finish that looks great. Additionally, it comes with a durable six-foot USB-C cable that is rated up to 140W, making it a great option for those with newer devices.

Much like many of the chargers you get with laptops like the MacBook, the Ugreen Nexode 140W Charger can fast charge compatible devices and does so incredibly fast. But to take advantage of this speed, you will need to use the USB-C ports on the block. Keep in mind that both USB-C ports working together can only output 65W of power, and the UBS-A port will charge, but the output will be limited.

“The Nexode 140W Charger is a great option for those looking for a smaller, more compact charger.”

Confused? Don’t worry; the Ugreen Nexode 140W Charger has a little diagram on the ports to help select the best ones for your particular devices. If you want to use the full power of the Nexode, we recommend only using the USB-C ports, especially if you are using it with a laptop, as there is simply not enough power otherwise to keep things running smoothly.

I consistently use the Ugreen Nexode 140W, the many devices we test in the CGMagazine offices. We use a variety of tech while doing our jobs, and many do not come with chargers in the box or come with a charger not made for North American plugs, so the Ugreen Nexode 140W has proven invaluable, giving a good sense of the many phones and laptops fast charging abilities, and also giving an easy to use way to top up devices we may be using while on the go.

Much like most of the fast charge options currently available, the Ugreen Nexode 140W is not cheap. The charger will set you back around $149.99, making it on the mid-range of these new chargers hitting the market. Made to last and stable enough to work with even your most expensive laptops and smartphones, look no further than the Ugreen Nexode 140W charger for anyone looking to up their charging game. You won’t be disappointed.
