The anime community returns to Los Angeles for another year, full of celebrations! The SPJA (Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation) released its full Anime Expo 2025 programming, which includes major industry leaders, special guests, and panels. Anime Expo 2025 takes place July 3-6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This year’s partners making this possible include the likes of Aniplex of America, Arc System Works America, ATLUS/SEGA, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Crunchyroll, Funko, Hulu, KADOKAWA WORLD ENTERTAINMENT, INC, Konami, Netflix, Square Enix, Takaratomy, VIZ, Webtoon, and so many more.
Kicking off all the amazing events and guests at Anime Expo 2025, the visionary behind both FINAL FANTASY XIV and FINAL FANTASY XVI, Naoki Yoshida, will be an honoured guest at the convention. The president of MAPPA Co., Ltd., Manabu Otsuka, and Vice President Hiroya Hasegawa are also featured special guests, who will discuss Chainsaw Man—The Movie: Reze Arc and other MAPPA-related topics.
The mangaka behind The Summer Hikaru Died, Mokumokuren, will be attending—talking more about the upcoming anime adaptation dropping on July 5th on Netflix. More from Netflix, the red streamer will also be showing off the premiere of SAKAMOTO DAYS Cour 2, Record of Ragnarok III, My Melody and Kuromi, along with more surprises!

There are massive events/panels being held to celebrate some of the biggest anime series, such as Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and many more. Anime Expo is one of the world’s biggest anime community events, and that is why the voice of Saitama, Makoto Furukawa, will be talking about what One Punch Man fans can expect from Season 3. Additionally, the widely and recently popular series, DAN DA DAN, will be celebrating the launch of Season 2 with Fuga Yamashiro from Science SARU and Abby Trott (Momo), A.J. Beckles (Okarun), & Aleks Le (Jiji) from the English voice cast. Get a special behind-the-scenes look as DAN DA DAN starts airing its second season.
Anime Expo 2025 features an exciting SEGA and ATLUS panel who will share the behind-the-scenes story of Persona 5: The Phantom X’s development. SEGA and ATLUS celebrate its global release with exclusive freebies and special live performance by Lyn Inaizumi, featuring original songs from the Persona 5 series. More on the gaming side, Konami unmasks SILENT HILL f—the newest game in the SILENT HILL series, with producer Motoi Okamoto, writer Ryukishi07, and composer Akira Yamaoka. Each of them offer exclusive insights and neverbefore-seen footage from the game.
Spike Chunsoft Inc. returns to Anime Expo with an official panel spotlighting its 2025 video game lineup, including No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES and SHUTEN ORDER. The panel features Director and Scenario Writer, No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES, Kazuya Yamada, and the voice of Kaname Date, Greg Chun. The panel takes place on Saturday, July 5, at 10:30 AM PT, in the Diamond Ballroom. The company will be giving away a limited number of T-shirts at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is offerring Anime Expo 2025 attendees the chance to be among the first in the world to play DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER and TOWA AND THE GUARDIANS OF THE SACRED TREE. The upcoming PAC-MAN inspired 2D action game SHADOW LABYRINTH and remaster of the beloved rhythm action-adventure franchise, PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY, will have their first-ever playable consumer demos at the show. Fans will also have a chance to step into the haunting universe of the upcoming action RPG CODE VEIN II with a memorable photo op as well as play other titles from Bandai Namco’s lineup of games. Check this all out at Booth #2106 in South Hall.
For the Hatsune Miku fans, the popular rhythm game, HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! will be hosting a fan meeting event for one day, only at Anime Expo 2025. The event will include a talk show with the voice actors from the game, musical numbers, a special reveal, and more! Come meet special guests including the voices of Akito Shinonome, Toya Aoyagi, Saki Tenma, and Shiho Hinomori. Attendees can receive free items created originally for Anime Expo. This will be taking place on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 10:30AM – 11:20AM PT at Petree Hall.
Wrestling fans, get excited for the first Japanese female pro-wrestling league, Sukeban World Championship Fight, coming to Anime Expo 2025. Blending wrestling, anime, fashion, and music into a one-of-a-kind experience, Sukeban brings together the toughest wrestlers and girl gangs from Tokyo to fight for world domination. Step into the ring and witness fierce action as Harajuku Stars, Cherry Bomb Girls, Dangerous Liaisons, and Vandals clash for glory!
