Crunchyroll Games opens pre-registration for One Punch Man: World, a cross-platform play game based in the iconic universe of the anime/manga.

While we all wait desperately for One Punch Man Season 3 to come out, why not enjoy a look back at the series? What better way to do this than by reliving some key moments from the anime within Crunchyroll Games’ new multiplayer action game, One Punch Man: World. The game is expected to cover the best moments from season one, along with some “new and expanded” content. Pre-registration for Windows PC is now officially open, but will be out on iOS and Android as well.

Players will be able to explore Z-City in a open world format, really experiencing the lay of the land for the iconic protagonist Saitama. The game was created in collaboration with Perfect World, the devs behind Tower of Fantasy and Persona 5: The Phantom X. For those unacquainted with Saitama, he is essentially a hero who used to be a regular salaryman, along with hair. But then, he decided to train as hard as practically doing 100 Pushups, 100 Sit Ups, 100 Squats and a 10KM Run everyday. He lost his hair, but gained so much strength that he murders or defeats villains and foes in one punch.

General Manager of Crunchyroll Games and Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, Terry Li shared their thoughts on the game’s development with Perfect World, “The most ambitious Crunchyroll Games title to date, One Punch Man: World is an immersive online action game that transports players into the universe of One Punch Man…developed by Perfect World, brings iconic characters and abilities to life with premiere production values that we are excited to unleash on anime fans and gamers.”

One Punch Man: World is said to bring ways to unlock and level-up heroes seen in the anime, so other heroes like Genos and maybe even the cycling king himself, Mumen Rider. Players can test their skills with the dynamic combat and learn their own skill combos that works . Additionally, players can take advantage of the social area called the Hero Association Hub to meet friends, plan out missions and team-up to take on monster raids.
