Job Listing Hints at Cyberpunk 2077's Vehicles 1

The Witcher developer CD Projekt RED is hiring for its upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077, including a new job listing for a vehicle gameplay programmer.

Both the job listing and the ad (as seen below via All Games Delta) hint at what fans can expect from Cyberpunk in terms of vehicles to navigate through the game’s open world, with the ad featuring an image of the motorcycle:

The job listing itself says that the vehicle programmer will be tasked with “creating the whole architecture of vehicle related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles,” implying that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature both ground road vehicles and flight vehicles when it launches.

According to a recent financial meeting, CD Projket RED is currently aiming to release Cyberpunk 2077 sometime between 2017 and 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. More recently, the studio released The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in May of last year, and is bringing the game’s in-universe card game Gwent to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One before 2016’s end.

Cyberpunk 2077 was first teased back in 2013, but CD Projekt RED has yet to release footage of the game in motion.

Earlier this month, CD Projekt RED delayed Gwent’s beta out of September and into October, citing a desire to test the game more before opening it up to the public.

While Gwent is a spin-off from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the base game is still getting content and attention from the studio, with two major DLC expansions having launched since the original game came to market. The first expansion, Hearts of Stone launched in October of 2015, with the second expansion titled Blood and Wine coming to digital storefronts earlier this year in May.
