PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra free games for this month have been announced, including adventure titles like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
As winter kicks off into high gear in North America, many people want some form of escape. This is where PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra free games can help! This month, the theme seems to be centred around Sci-Fi and RPG titles. This could be on the trend with recently released games like Helldivers 2 and Skull and Bones, and the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the horizon too. Adventure titles are always a great way to distract everyone who has to endure the annoying North American cold and snow.
All PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra members will be able to play some major titles, including Need for Speed Unbound, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. From racing a quarter mile travelling space in style to making a Viking funeral pile, these are games that will definitely make you smile.
The Outer Worlds has the perfect blend of Sci-Fi RPG vibes; the awards speak for themselves. Originally, it was released by Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division back in October 2020, allowing players to create their own space adventurer and go off to define their own space story. The best part is that it is said to be a tight single-player game, with about 15-20 hours’ worth of gameplay. Some have even called the game a hybrid of Fallout 4 and Borderlands. If that does not convince you, it was nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards in 2019, and a sequel has already been announced.
