The latest Genshin Impact event, Core of the Apparatus, will be dropping soon, revealing Primogen amounts and gameplay details.
Travelers in Genshin Impact can expect bigger, better things as the new event was announced late last night! The developer called the new in-game event, “Core of the Apparatus” as players will be creating robot furnishings. Putting the furniture aside, there will be Primogens, Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials, Mora and other rewards up for grabs when players complete the event challenges.
The grinding aspects or core story of this event will be that Travelers will need to help Bertrand, a Fontaine mechanical toymaker in Inazuma, collect supplies and build test products to earn redemption vouchers. These redemption vouchers could then be exchanged for robot furnishings. This will be a great event for Genshin Impact players to farm Primogens for the character banner they may want in the future.
Before getting too hasty and taking advantage of the new event, all Genshin Impact players have to reach multiple conditions to play this new event:
- Reach Adventure Rank 30 or above
- Complete the “Ritou Escape Plan” part of the Archon Quest: “Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”
- Complete the World Quest “Chisato’s Letter”
In order to begin farming the events, players must equip the ‘Material Collector’ gadget (obtained from Bertrand) to complete three processes: Source Material Collection, Elemental Charge and Core Activation. The progress bar of the Material Collector will go up as players have gathered all the necessary materials. Players will continue on to the next procedure once the progress reaches 100%.
These three steps are how the robot furnishings are created, offering a variety of model types and animations. The model types are determined by what players did during the three processes. There is also a small chance of developing a random model or a unique robotic setup that is capable of performing all three animations. To see all the different ways of creating different designs for robot furnishings and movements, players can check out the Genshin Impact archive guide page.
During the event, Travelers can claim a total of four robots from test model vouchers. If players are unsatisfied with the model they made, players could use the trade function to send requests and obtain the product model that they need. By creating robotic furnishings with various designs and motions, players will then get redemption vouchers. Then, these redemption vouchers can then be exchanged with Bertrand to obtain robotic furnishings that can be placed in the Serenitea Pot.
While the overall process seems either confusing or redundant, it can be a bit of both — but rewarding for the troubles. There are no exclusive rewards for the Core of the Apparatus in Genshin Impact, but it is a excellent way to earn prizes like Primogems, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Mora, Weapon Ascension Materials and Character EXP Materials. Based on the previous event, players are expected to earn up to 420 Primogens. The event itself will run from June 29 to July 11.
