The world-renowned battle royale title, Fortnite, is getting another collaboration with a movie property, this time partnering with this Summer’s highly-anticipated film—Talk To Me.
Independent UK film studio, Altitude, has created a Fortnite Creative mode featuring one of this Summer’s most highly-anticipated horror films in Talk To Me. Deadpines: Zombie Survival is available to play right now, ahead of the film’s July 28th, 2023 release, and will now feature scenes from the upcoming film. This marks the very first time that Fortnite has partnered with a horror game, even though they have seen collaborations with several major films, video games, as well as franchises from other mediums make their way to the battle royale title.
Currently being touted as “one of the scariest movies of the decade,” Talk To Me follows a group of friends who “discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand. They soon become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces. Following suit with that theme, Fortnite players will enter a haunted house and experience notable scenes from the movie, including the Séance Room and Hospital, both filled “to the brim with the soul-sucking undead.”

Available to play for free on Fortnite via consoles, PCs, mobile, and tablets, the Talk To Me campaign is available until August 13th, 2023. The Deadpines: Zombie Survival game mode has reached more than 17 million gamers worldwide, which means several gamers should be able to experience the newest collaboration with the battle royale shooter.
